Memphis is the largest city in the state of Tennessee; with a population of more than one million. Memphis' claim to fame is “Graceland” which is the mansion where Elvis lived in during his later years. Memphis is also considered to be the home of the center of blues music. The city has been experiencing a renewal makeover in the last few years with new developments downtown that has resulted in more people moving into downtown and living in a clean safe environment.
Attractions include Beale Street which has dozens of bars and clubs with almost all of them offering live music and entertainment. There is also the Fire Museum of Memphis that is designed to be interactive and educational to kids and adults. There is the Mud Island River Park which is accessible by monorail and it offers paddleboats for visitors to use.
